The Five Senses
sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing
Hi everybody, I’m Professor Philip A. Lujan. Your body has five amazing senses that help you learn about the world around you!
-
Seeing: Your eyes help you see colors, shapes, people, and toys.
-
Hearing: Your ears help you hear music, voices, and funny sounds.
-
Smelling: Your nose helps you smell things like flowers, cookies, or rain.
-
Tasting: Your tongue helps you taste sweet, salty, sour, and yummy foods.
-
Touching: Your skin helps you feel things that are soft, warm, cold, bumpy, or smooth.
Your five senses are like special helpers. They help you explore, play, and stay safe every day!
